Bring Island Flavor to the Holiday Table with Seaka’s Kitchen

This season, Seaka’s Kitchen is making holiday hosting a little easier with Jamaican-fusion catering packages designed for Thanksgiving, Christmas, corporate celebrations, private parties and everything in between.

Think jerk turkey alongside macaroni and cheese. Braised oxtail and rice and peas. Escovitch fish. Curried goat. Pumpkin rum cake. Sweet potato pudding. And yes, there’s an entire plant-based Caribbean holiday feast, too.

Holiday catering is available for groups of six or more through December 21, with six signature packages plus the option to build your own menu.

Package 1: The Island Starter

Perfect for small gatherings of 6–10 guests.

The Island Starter gives smaller celebrations a complete holiday meal without having to order a massive spread. The package includes one appetizer, one entrée, two sides, one salad and one dessert.

Entrée options include jerk turkey, herb-roasted turkey, jerk chicken, brown stew chicken, jerk salmon, coconut curry shrimp, Jamaican vegetable curry and vegan Ital vegetable stew.

For the sides, choose from Jamaican rice and peas, coconut rice, macaroni and cheese, candied yams, garlic mashed potatoes, jerk cornbread stuffing, sweet plantains, steamed cabbage and roasted seasonal vegetables.

Dessert choices include pumpkin rum cake, pumpkin cookies, Jamaican rum cake, sweet potato pudding and assorted holiday cookies.

Package 2: The Jamaican Holiday Table

Perfect for family gatherings of 10–20 guests.

This is the table for families who want a little bit of everything. The Jamaican Holiday Table combines traditional holiday favorites with Jamaican classics and includes two appetizers, two entrées, three sides, one soup, one salad and one dessert selection.

Entrées include jerk turkey, whole roasted pork leg, jerk chicken, braised oxtail, curried goat, jerk salmon, curry shrimp, coconut curry shrimp, vegan Rasta pasta and Jamaican Ital vegetable stew.

Appetizer choices range from Jamaican beef patties and saltfish fritters to jerk chicken or shrimp skewers, mini crab cakes, vegetable patties, jerk cauliflower bites and plantain cups filled with mango-avocado salsa.

You can also add some warmth to the table with Jamaican pumpkin soup, roasted butternut squash soup, sweet potato and coconut soup, Caribbean corn soup or vegan pumpkin and coconut soup.

Package 3: The Seaka’s Signature Feast

Perfect for corporate parties and gatherings of 20–40+ guests.

For a larger celebration, this is Seaka’s full Jamaican-fusion holiday experience. The Signature Feast includes three assorted appetizers, three entrées, four sides, one soup, one salad and assorted desserts.

Meat and poultry selections include jerk turkey, whole roasted pork leg, jerk chicken, braised oxtail, curried oxtail and curried goat.

Seafood lovers can choose from jerk salmon, brown stew salmon, escovitch fish, Jamaican curry shrimp, coconut curry shrimp and an island seafood medley.

There are plenty of meat-free choices too, including vegan Rasta pasta, Jamaican Ital vegetable stew, coconut curry chickpeas, jerk jackfruit, Caribbean lentil and vegetable stew and stuffed sweet potatoes with Caribbean-spiced black beans.

Package 4: The Christmas Island Feast

The ultimate holiday celebration.

Created for Christmas parties, executive events, upscale private gatherings and larger family celebrations, the Christmas Island Feast is designed to feel abundant.

The package includes four assorted appetizers, three entrées, four sides, soup, Seaka’s signature holiday salad and a Jamaican and traditional dessert table.

Choose up to three signature entrées from whole roasted pork leg, braised oxtail, curried goat, jerk turkey, jerk salmon, coconut curry shrimp, Escovitch fish, vegan Rasta pasta and Jamaican Ital vegetable stew.

And then there’s dessert.

The Signature Dessert Table can feature Jamaican black cake, Jamaican rum cake, pumpkin rum cake, sweet potato pudding, coconut cake, pumpkin cookies, gingerbread cookies, shortbread cookies and assorted holiday cookies.

In other words: come hungry.

Package 5: Seaka’s Plant-Based Holiday Feast

Plant-based guests don’t have to spend the holidays piecing together side dishes.

Seaka’s has created a complete Caribbean-inspired vegetarian and vegan holiday menu featuring three vegan appetizers, two vegan entrées, three vegan sides, one vegan soup, one vegan salad and a vegan-friendly dessert.

Entrée choices include vegan Rasta pasta, Jamaican Ital vegetable stew, jerk jackfruit, coconut curry chickpeas, Caribbean lentil and vegetable stew, jerk cauliflower and stuffed Caribbean sweet potatoes.

Appetizers include vegan vegetable patties, jerk jackfruit sliders, plantain cups with mango-avocado salsa, jerk cauliflower bites and Caribbean vegetable fritters.

Package 6: The Holiday Cocktail Reception

Perfect for corporate events, holiday mixers and parties built for mingling.

Skip the traditional sit-down dinner and turn the evening into a cocktail-style celebration with small bites.

The Holiday Cocktail Reception includes five assorted passed or stationary appetizers, one soup shooter, one signature holiday salad and a mini dessert assortment.

Seafood bites include jerk shrimp skewers, mini crab cakes, saltfish fritters and coconut shrimp. Meat options include jerk chicken skewers, mini oxtail patties, pulled jerk pork sliders and curry goat pastries. Vegetarian choices include vegetable patties, mac and cheese bites and plantain cups, while vegan options include jerk jackfruit sliders, jerk cauliflower bites and mango-avocado plantain cups.
